 Nutrition Empowerment and Wellness
Many families who are new to the United States are often  misinformed about nutrition and the efficacy of food related products.  Presently in the U.S. there is an obesity epidemic that can be a cause  for bad health.
Providing correct nutritional education and information will empower and help families maintain healthy lifestyles.
Project N.E.W. is a special project that serves  the families within Huntington and Huntington Station by providing  nutrition and health education.
Staff  helps families by providing the nutritional education as  well as any other referrals or help with resources that will address  their needs. Information will be kept confidential and will be provided  in English and Spanish.
Our mission is to outreach and engage families interested in  nutrition education to increase their knowledge of nutrition, health and  other services and programs that will enrich their lives.
