Tri CYA is providing both food distribution and in-person programming at this time.
Food Distribution:
Tri CYA provides bags of food on Mondays 11am-5 pm at 809 New York Ave in Huntington. Arrangements can be made on other days for food pick up at the center. Tri CYA workers are at the center Monday – Friday. If you are coming on Mondays no need to call in advance. If you are picking up on another day, please give us a call at 631-673-0614 so we will have a bag ready.
For those who do not have transportation, Tri CYA workers are dropping off bags of shelf stable food on the doorstep of families. Please call 631-673-0614.
For families having health issues, economic struggles, or other struggles, Tri CYA is proud to be the partner for Feed the Town. Feed the Town delivers hot meals for emergencies. If you are in need of food drop off or Feed the Town, please call 631-673-0614.
In-person programming:
Tri CYA has in-person programming for youth aged 5-21. Tri CYA is open Monday through Friday from 2:30-5:30pm and is offering Homework help, Arts and Crafts, Poetry, reading, drop in, snacks and more.
Tri CYA also has a boxing training program. Limited to 12 students; sign up required. A Basketball Clinic is also available with sign up required. Call 631-673-0614.
Our South Huntington Sites are now located at Walt Whitman High School and Stimson Middle School.
Contactless temperature checks prior to program entry and a short questionnaire are required each time students enter the building.

In response to the pandemic, Feed the Town was created by Ray and Jamie Costa, with support from Dan and Caroline DeDora. Feed the Town supports local restaurants while helping those in need by delivering hot meals six nights a week. As the community partner, Tri CYA coordinates the distribution of these meals to ensure Huntington’s most vulnerable families never go to sleep hungry.
